Chelsea Clinton is well known as the former first daughter of president Bill Clinton and the 2018 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton.
She is vice-chair of the Clinton Foundation and a New York Times best selling author of a series of books for young people about women who have broken through barriers to achieve success, including the first American woman in space, Sally Ride, who was a physics professor at U-C San Diego and died in 2012.
Before Chelsea Clinton spoke to the sold-out Sally Ride Women in Leadership event on the U-C San Diego campu on Wednesday, May 22nd, KOGO's Cliff Albert interviewed her about women in politics.
