After hearing about the San Diego woman who won last June’s half-billion dollar Mega Millions lottery jackpot, you might be wondering what you would do with that much money.
Would you know what to do with it right away?Would you do anything with it right away?
She says she took the cash option of 340-million dollars before federal taxes but still plenty enough to pay off her debt she says and buy a new home, which is what she plans.
But when you ask people what they do with that kind of money you probably will get a lot of different answers.
A lot of people like to say, "Well when I win the lottery.."
But a lot of people may never think about it because they know winning a half billion dollar jackpot like that will probably never happen so why waste the brain energy even thinking about it.
But if you did decide to think about it, what would you do? How would you spend several hundred million dollars?How much would you use for yourself and how much for others?
While it may never happen to most of us, when you think about it, thinking about it could be a good exercise in determining some of life’s priorities and it might be useful to think about it….just in case!
