A moderate earthquake shook parts of San Diego County Tuesday morning.
The U.S. Geological Survey says the quake hit at 9:21 a.m.and measured 3.6. The epicenter was centered just southwest of Lake Henshaw, about 20 miles east of Escondido. There were no reports of damage or injuries.
According to the USGS website, the quake was widely felt in the East County valleys and mountains and as far north as Irvine and Murrieta in Orange County and as far south as Chula Vista.
