Black Friday Small Business Saturday and now today Cyber Monday.
Today is the day the marketers have declared that holiday shoppers sit down in front of their computer to start doing their on line buying of holiday gifts.
All of these how special shopping days were created by people who wanted to make the holiday shopping season more successful by designating specific days with specific names to get us to shop more.
And it has worked.Even with the rain weather and even though Black Friday deals started shortly after Halloween, thousands of shopper were up early last Friday to get those so-called door buster deals.
Small business Saturday was an idea to get shoppers away from the malls and into small stores in their neighborhoods and their cities.
Now today it’s Cyber Monday when holiday shoppers spend even more time than they already do shopping on line.Retailers who already offer products on line today offer cyber-deals on their products.
If you’re Amazon, today is an important day when shoppers spend time on their phone, their tablets or even on their desktop at the office looking cyber deals and making cyber purchases.
Cyber Monday, Small Business Saturday and Black Friday may get a lot of attention, but there are still 24 days till Christmas and that means there will be a lot of shopping going on every day no matter what you may want to call them.
