Well-known San Diegan, Mark Goffeney, died this week, according to the county medical examiner's office.
Goffeney and Annmaree, his wife, were found dead in their El Cajon apartment on Tuesday, March 2, reports NBC7. They were both 51-years-old.
The cause of death for both has not yet been reported.
Goffeney was often spotted performing at Balboa Park and had made several appearances on TV, including "The Next Great American Band" on Fox.
He was born without arms and played guitar with his feet. He would put his instruments on the ground, strumming with rings on his toes and using his right foot to change chords.
Goffeney also played electric bass with the band Big Toe. His bandmate James Neal, took to social media to honor the late musician.
"I would like to thank everyone who supported BIG TOE and wish his family well in this sad time," wrote Neal on Big Toe's Facebook page. "I will be including 'We Are the Same' in my future set list as a tribute to a great musician and Friend... God bless you, Mark, keep rockin in heaven."
