A Temecula woman took home the grand prize on Wheel of Fortune on Monday night (May 17).
Victoria Rice won the $100,000 grand prize in the Bonus Round. In total, she took home $123,600 in cash, a trip to Cancun, and other prizes.
"I can't believe it! I'm in shock," said Victoria.
She is a tasting room manager at a winery and a Level 2 sommelier.
Victoria is a self-described "crazy Wheel of Fortune fan" who has been watching the show since was a little girl. She still watches the show every night with her longtime boyfriend, Ben.
While chatting with Host Pat Sajak, Victoria revealed that she was too shy to upload a video application to be on the show.
"Later on, every time my boyfriend and I would watch Wheel of Fortune together and I would solve a puzzle, he would say 'that could have been you!' I got sick of him saying it, so I applied, and here I am today!"
Victoria plans to use the money she wont to travel to Europe where she hopes to gain more knowledge about wine in Italy, Spain, and France. The additional money will go toward buying a new car.
