Some of the scariest creatures to ever walk to the planet are coming to San Diego as Jurassic Quest returns to the Del Mar Fairgrounds after the holidays.

According to KGTV, the event will run from January 21-23, 2022, and will feature exhibits of more than 100 photorealistic dinosaurs.

During the pandemic, Jurassic Quest hosted sold-out drive-thru events at the fairgrounds. The return will be the first time the event will be in-person at the Del Mar Fairgrounds since March 2020.

The in-person event will also feature dinosaur-themed rides and attractions, live dinosaur shows, interactive science and art activities, photo ops, and a "triceratots" soft play area for younger guests.

According to KGTV, the exhibits will take guests through the Cretaceous, Jurassic, and Triassic periods and into the ancient oceans of Earth's past, featuring a life-size, moving megalodon.

Tickets are going for $19 and include a 100% ticket guarantee in the case that the event is canceled or postponed. Entry for kids ages 2 and younger is free. Some rides and activities may require an extra free.
