25 years ago I was a young reporter at channel 8 in San Diego and I covered a story that will always stay with me -- the Heaven's Gate mass suicide. I was one of the first reporters to tour the house in Rancho Santa Fe after the discovery of the bodies. I'll never forget what I saw.
