Sacramento Mayor: "Gun Violence is Sickness in Our Culture" After Shooting

Law enforcement agencies throughout California are asking for help to find the suspects in the deadly mass shooting in Sacramento. 

Police say they believe several people, possibly four, opened fire on a crowd in a popular restaurant and entertainment area in California’s capital city early Sunday morning. Police say the shootings began after a large fight broke out. Three men and three women were killed, 12 other people were shot. Four of those victims were said to be fighting to survive.  Police say it's a complex and complicated scene, asking anyone with information to come forward.

The area where the mass shooting happened in Sacramento is similar to San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. KOGO News has reached out to San Diego Police about any increased security in the wake of the shooting in Sacramento where Mayor Darrell Steinberg told reporters called gun violence "a sickness" in our culture.
