An earthquake rocked much of San Diego County Thursday night.
The quake measured 4.6 and hit at 9:31 p.m. and was centered about 50 miles south of the Mexican border just off the coast of Ensenada in Baja California. There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries on either side of the border. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was reported felt as far north as Oceanside and San Juan Capistrano and in the inland mountain areas of San Diego County as well.
