San Diego speakeasy Raised by Wolves in the UTC Mall has been named one of the top 20 best bars in North America.
The bar come in at number 19 on the list, voted on by more than 200 bar industry experts.
The Union Tribune says CH Projects opened the three million dollar speakeasy in 2018, and people enter the secret bar by the fireplace seating area, which rotates 360-degrees.
The waiting list to get in on a weekend can be three to four weeks.
North America’s 50 Best Bars says “Raised by Wolves is bringing back an opulent, old-world vibe to cocktail imbibing, with ornate, oak wood panelling and an impressive, opaque glass dome-shaped ceiling feature hanging over its circular, centre bar. Cocktails are divided into refreshing, decadent, spirit-forward and reserve sections as well as non-alcoholic. A seat here is so in demand, reservations to secure a table average a month booking in advance. The secret entrance adds whimsy to the speakeasy experience, and spirits are even available to purchase at its shop for a perfect keepsake.”
