ELECTION RESULTS: Updated Reports

The San Diego County Registrar of Voters office says it could be next week before all the ballots in Tuesday's elections are counted.

Mail ballots that were postmarked by Election Day, Nov. 8th, are arriving at the registrar's office this week. As of Thursday night, there were about 400,000 ballots that have not been counted due to the need to verify all ballots. The latest update was released Thursday evening:

In the 49th congressional district, Democrat Mike Levin slightly increasing his lead to 52-percent support, up from 51-percent in the last count, over Brian Maryott...

In the race for mayor of Chula Vista... Republican John McCann still leads Democrat Ammar Campa-Najjar ...55-45 percent.

For sheriff... Kelly Martinez is still holding the same 57-43 lead over John Eemmerling.

City of San Diego Measure B, the proposed trash pickup fee... the no-vote still leads 51-49 percent.

The yes vote leads on the height limit increase in the Midway District... Measure C with just above 50-percent support...

In Chula Vista, the candidate for city attorney who died two months ago, Simon Silva, still leads by 148 votes over Dan Smith.
