Former Republican vice presidential candidate and Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin teased a potential return to Washington, D.C., in a cryptic post.
Palin shared a photo of herself pointing a finger with the U.S. Capitol behind her, along with the caption, "11/24," on an Instagram post with comments turned off. The post was shared after she re-shared calls from a supporter to have a place in President-elect Donald Trump's cabinet.
“Palin was Trump before Trump. I have been saying this for years. Sarah Palin is the Mother of MAGA,” the supporter wrote.
“Back then [16 years ago], she was the face of the tea party, what would then become the MAGA movement,” the follower added, noting that they were outraged that others had been selected for “positions I hoped Sarah Palin would get.”
“It is so shocking to me how in 2017, and now it looks like in 2025, she will not get a seat at the table that she helped set.”
Palin shared screenshots of the posts along with the caption, “Big tent, big party, but know your history so America can repeat the good parts.” The former governor and vice presidential candidate has long been a supporter of Trump, having endorsed him in January 2016 and appearing at his rallies over the years, which included his Madison Square Garden event just before his 2024 presidential election victory.
