Legendary game show host Chuck Woolery has died at the age of 83, according to his Blunt Force Truth co-host Dr. Mark Young.

"It is with a broken heart that I tell you that my dear brother @chuckwoolery has just passed away. Life will not be the same without him, RIP brother," Young wrote in a post shared on his X account, which was re-shared by Woolery's account Saturday (November 23) night.

Young also told TMZ that he was at Woolery's Texas home when his co-host said he wasn't feeling well and went to lie down in his room before saying he was having trouble breathing. Woolery was the original host of both the daytime version of Wheel of Fortune (1975-1981) and Love Connection (1983-1994), as well as Scrabble (1984-1990, 1993), Greed (1999-2000) on FOX and Lingo (2002-2007) on the Game Show Network.

Woolery, a U.S. Navy veteran who served two years board the USS Enterprise, initially began his entertainment career in music, which included recording a hit single 'Naturally Stoned' as the singer in the psychedelic pop duo Avant-Garde, as well as multiple country music releases and several advertising jingles. The legendary game show host also made appearances in the film Cold Feet and the television sitcoms 227 and Scrubs.

Woolery, who described himself as a 'Hollywood Conservative,' began hosting what would eventually become Blunt Force Truth alongside Young in 2012.
