The "Henderson Fire" in the Pala area of the North County as of Sunday had burned an estimated 255 acres and was 65-percent contained, according to Cal Fire.
It was first reported shortly after 5:30pm Friday burning north of State Route 76.
The San Diego County Sheriff’s Office issued Evacuation Warnings and Orders. But orders were lifted Saturday with some warnings still in effect Sunday.
The Temporary Evacuation point was located at the Pala Casino parking lot, 11154 Hwy 76.
About 160 firefighters battled the blames in rocky and steep terrain. Air tankers and helicopters were called in to help.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
