The Comic-Con in 2021 "@Home" version of the convention is now live that is taking place July 23 - 25, 2021. Participation is FREE and will include hundreds of panels and virtual vendors, dozens of activities, a costume competition, challenges, and more.
Here's what can you expect from Comic-Con@Home 2021:
- Hundreds of separate panels spread out over the event. You can watch them via live video stream (see links below).
- Hundreds of virtual exhibitors, with some offering live interaction and special offers.
- Comic-Con@Home has created free activities and challenges that will help you interact from home and share via social media.
- The Virtual Masquerade Costume Competition will go live for viewing on Tumbler Saturday (July 24). The entries have already been judged but you can take a look at all of the incredible entries.
- Event merchandise is available for sale.
- Comic-Con’s Robert A. Heinlein Blood Drive will take place at various locations throughout the county from July 23 - August 29, 2021.
- An Art Show and virtual marketplace have been set up to display and sell art.
- Print your own @Home Badge!
Check out the hundreds of panels available to watch each day with the links below. Each panel will contain a link; when you click on that link, you’ll launch a pop-up that has the panel video embedded on it … that video will be available on the date and time listed. When it’s available, simply push play and watch! It’s that simple.
Friday, July 23 | Panels are scheduled ALL DAY 10am to 11:52 pm
Saturday, July 24 | Panels are scheduled every hour from 10am - 12 midnight
Sunday, July 25 | Panels are scheduled every hour from 10am - 7pm
The many of the panels will also be available AFTER the event, although there are some that may have a limited time period attached to them. All the panels will also be available on the Comic-Con YouTube channel, so you can also access them there when you subscribe at https://www.youtube.com/user/ComicCon
Comic-Con In the FUTURE:
Comic-Con Special Edition is scheduled for November 26-28, 2021. This will be a smaller, supplemental event and details are expected to be revealed soon.
Comic-Con 2022 will return to the San Diego Convention Center in July of 2022, but details are still pending.
