The Truth About the Fake News About the Draft

When it comes to fake news, there is a lot of rhetoric about fake news but sometimes there is real fake news.

And it has become hard these days to know when news is really fake. But when the United States Army says something is fake news, it can get your attention, so to speak.

After getting a number of complaints from people who have gotten text messages saying that they have been selected for a military draft, the Army sent out a tweet that read:

“Fact check: The @USArmy is NOT contacting anyone regarding the draft. Text messages currently circulating are false and are not official Army communications.”

The Army saying texts about a military draft that some people have been getting are a fraud and truly fake.

No one knows for sure who’s responsible for the texts and the posts on social media but there are always those out there, who for fun or profit, decide to take advantage of people’s fears and worries.

And since the U.S drone strike in Iraq that killed that Iranian bad guy, there’s no doubt that many Americans have been worried about a possible war with Iran. There are even reports that there was so much traffic coming to the Selective Service website, it had to shut it down a few days ago.

With this already being a tense time, the last thing we need is fake news that makes us even more tense.
