The Stories From the L-A Fires Residents Will Remember

The stories from the worst fires the Los Angeles area has ever seen keep coming in.

Stories of terror and loss and heartache and lots of tears, with tens of thousands of Angelinos having lost their homes that could take years to rebuild or will mean moving their families to other areas.

Stories as well of people helping people, those who have lost everything being helped by people who are giving and donating and offering places to live.

And there have been the stories from the fire lines themselves of the firefighters and other first responders of the relentless battle they have faced against the worst of what Mother Nature could throw at them.

The L-A city fire chief saying that despite the massive and multiple fights against these fires during the last week or so, morale and energy of the men and women on the ground with water hoses, shovels, pick axes and whatever tools they have to confront the flames and the danger has not lessened.

There will be stories ahead in the days, weeks, months,  and years about hope and recovery.

And all of these stories, good and bad, will be vivid memories of L-A residents for decades to come.
