So why is there so much hate these days?
Republicans hate Democrats. Democrats hate Republicans. The right says hateful things about the left. And the left say hateful things about the right.
Hate is not anything new. Human history is filled with too much of it.
A commentator recently wrote that hate has become a sad part of modern society. Why? She blames social media.
Saying that before social media, interactions had stakes. “If you said something hurtful, You had to deal with the consequences of your words in real time. Now, those consequences are gone. The internet has created a disconnect between people, making it easy to dehumanize others.”
Wise words. Even if we hate to admit it
