NATIONAL CITY (KOGO) - A man is dead and a woman is in custody after an apparent stabbing incident in the South Bay.
Police in National City responded to the Motel 6 on East Plaza Boulevard and L Avenue just after 6:00 a.m. Thursday. Police say they found a male victim suffering life-threatening injuries. He was treated on scene before being taken to the hospital where he died.
A woman, 44-year old Amalia Samaniego, is believed to be linked to the stabbing and was arrested.
