Three San Diego County Cities Get Millions in Homeless Projects Funding

SAN DIEGO - San Diego County is allocating $4 Million dollars in funding to three cities for projects serving homeless people.

Oceanside is getting more than three million dollars to build a homeless services center and a 50 bed shelter while nearby Vista is getting $65,000 to operate a safe parking lot program. San Diego is getting a million dollars to open another safe parking lot, this one will be in the Rose Canyon area and will feature 60 spaces along with on-site restrooms, laundry, food and access to programs and services according to the San Diego Union-Tribune.

The county still has about $5 Million left to give out for other homeless projects.
