Water Rescue in the South Bay

SAN DIEGO - One person has been rescued from a vehicle stuck in the Tijuana River Valley.

San Diego firefighters and lifeguards responded around 8:30 a.m. Wednesday to an area off of Saturn Boulevard south of Imperial Beach, where a vehicle was stuck in four feet of moving water. Crews were able to get the person safely out of the vehicle just after 9:00 a.m. and say the person did not appear to be injured.

It's unclear how long the person had been stuck in the water.
