SAN DIEGO - An alleged member of ANTIFA is sentenced to prison for her role in a riot in Pacific Beach last year.
Nikki Hubbard, 38, a transgender woman referred to in court documents as Erich Yach, was sentenced to four years in prison Thursday for conspiracy, assault and unlawful use of a tear gas weapon. Hubbard is among 11 people indicted by a grand jury for the January 9th clash at the Patriot March organized by Pro-Trump supporters.
Authorities say she and others were dressed in black clothing, armed with weapons and intended to start and take part in a riot.
Hubbard was also sentenced to serve an additional eight months in prison for an unrelated case. Her husband says she's been in a men's prison and has requested to serve the time in a women's prison.
The other 10 people indicted in the case will go on trial in March.
