Several Businesses Destroyed after Fire Rips through Strip Mall

SAN DIEGO - At least four businesses, including a barber shop, have been destroyed after a fire ripped through a strip mall in the Webster Community.

Crews from San Diego Fire-Rescue responded to the three-alarm fire just after 4:00 a.m. Wednesday on Euclid Avenue near Elm and 54th Streets. The fire may have started in a dumpster behind the stores and quickly spread to the roof, with flames shooting upwards of 50 feet into the air.
