Two people have been found dead in San Diego's Grant Hill neighborhood, early Monday morning.
Police were sent to 27th street near the commercial street trolly station just after midnight, following reports of two people down on the street.
According to reporting partner 10 News, when officers arrived, they discovered shell casings on the ground.
When officers looked inside a car that was parked near the victims, they found three young children, all under the age of two. All three were unharmed and have been taken into protective custody.
