New CEO Announced For San Diego International Airport

San Diego International Airport has a new CEO.

Atif Saeed will succeed Kimberly Becker who is retiring. Becker, who has been with the airport authority for 40 years, announced her retirement last year.

Saeed is expected to begin next month. He has served as the CEO of the Philadelphia Department of Aviation, and overseen operations of the Philadelphia International Airport.

In a statement Saeed said “San Diego International Airport plays a vital role in the region’s economy, and I am impressed by the organization’s commitment to customer service and deep connection to the community. I look forward to working closely with the board, employees, stakeholders, and the community to advance the Airport Authority’s mission.”
