Plans to increase affordable parking in downtown San Diego will be discussed Tuesday by County Supervisors.
Supervisor Joel Anderson plans to introduce a measure that would have county staff explore ways to maximize use of the AshStreet parking garage, as well as the Cedar-Kettner and James R. Mills buildings.
Anderson also wants supervisors to review current parking rates, and consider possible options such as free or discounted transit passes.
