New data reveals home sales in San diego County reached a 35 year low.
According to CoreLogic, there was 1,682 home sales in January, which is the lowest since 1988.
Rising interest rates are being blamed for the record lows.
This has caused many home owners to reconsider moving into new homes, bringing home sales to a three year low.
The data also shows rising mortgages in the past year as a result of the increasing rates.
