A deadly accident leaving a portion of a road closed for several hours in Mira Mesa this morning.
Police say just before 6:00a.m. when a 26-year-old man drove through a red light and hit a 59-year-old woman and a 64-year-old man who were crossing the street at Mira Mesa Blvd. and Marbury Avenue.
The woman died, and the man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. Police are investigating the accident, and it's unknown yet if any charges will be filed.
