So what’s the weather going to be like? Everyone asks the question.
But here in San Diego we’ve never asked it as often as we’ve been asking it lately.
You know what they say about being a weather forecaster in San Diego is the easiest job in the world, always sunny and always nice.
But this winter season in San Diego has brought the unexpected and the unusual when it comes to weather.
And sometimes we can all become a little unsettled when things become too unusual.
And the weather isn’t the only thing that’s been unusual lately.
Take politics for instance.
No matter what side of the political fence you’re on, things have been very unusual.
We’ve never had a president before like Donald Trump. Even his strongest supporters say he is unusual. But then that’s why people voted for him. Because he IS unusual. Because he’s NOT like the usual politician.
But sometimes the unusual can become so unusual that it makes us unsettled and makes things feel a little chaotic.
And that’s what it seems like lately when it comes to our weather and our politics.
From day to day lately, you never know what to expect…a sunny day or a stormy day.
Not even the best weather forecaster or the smartest political prognosticator seems to be able to predict what will happen next.
But chances are it won’t be what we’re used to.
