Some customers of a San Diego hookah lounge are shaken but okay today after someone opened fire on the business.
Police say it happened late Wednesday night at the Blue Nile Hookah Lounge on El Cajon Boulevard near La Mesa. Customers say a man wrapped in a blanket walked up and started shooting. Witnesses say everyone inside ran for cover, some people hiding under tables.
The man stopped shooting and casually walked away, leaving the place riddled with bullets and several windows shattered. Investigators are checking security cameras of neighboring businesses to try and identify the shooter.
