Sick and injured animals are get a big boost from an anonymous donor. The generous $101,000 donation to San Diego County's Animal Services Spirit Fund will help animals get back to full health through surgery, medicine and follow-up care.
David Johnson, the county's animal medical operation manager, says the Spirit Fund began nine years ago after a puppy was found badly beaten near the border.
