Christmas Tree Recycling is Dec. 26th thru Jan. 23

You can recycle your tree in the city of San Diego starting December 26th through January 23rd at 16 drop off locations listed above.

You can also leave your tree at the curb if you  have manual green tree pickup, where you  provide your own green can.

If you have automatic green bins that are picked up by a truck, you need to cut your tree, free of all decorations and the tree stand, to fit it in the bin.

In terms of recycling Christmas paper, all paper and boxes are recyclable, except for foil wrapping paper and ribbons.

All trees will be made into mulch, which you can pick up for free, with equipment and a bag, at the Miramar Landfill
