Trump's Hollywood Star Destroyed With A Pickaxe

A man is behind bars after he admitted to destroying President Trump's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Police say the suspect turned himself in Wednesday morning, after several people saw him smashing the plaque with a pickaxe hours earlier.

The man reportedly pulled the ax out of a guitar case, started hitting the star, called police and then left the evidence behind. He eventually turned himself in. LAPD Officer Ray Brown says the man will face vandalism charges.

The star placed on Hollywood Boulevard near Highland Avenue in 2007 recognizes Trump for his work on the reality show "The Apprentice." It was vandalized in October 2016, also with a pickaxe and sledgehammer.
