If you were prescribed drugs for pain, there's a good chance you don't need the remainder, and that's why the DEA is holding another drug take back day.
Bob Harkins with the DEA in San Diego tells KOGO News they'll also take unwanted prescription pills or capsules. He says people, especially young people, can easily take drugs out of the medicine cabinet and use them, which could lead to addiction or other drugs.
You can leave the drugs in a bottle and put them in a plastic bag or box and take them to one of 44 drop off sties Saturday, October 27th, from 10 am to 2 pm.
The drugs will then be disposed of.
