Search Is On For Armed Robbery In Mountain View

San Diego police are looking for an armed robber of a Subway Sandwich shop in Mountain View.

On December 12, 2018, at 0859 hours, San Diego Police Department officers responded to an armed robbery of the Subway located at 3582 National Avenue. 

The suspect entered the business and walked directly to the front counter. He pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money. 

The clerk complied and provided the suspect with cash from the register. The suspect then left and was last seen on foot towards National Avenue. 

During the course of the robbery, the suspect fired a round inside the business.

The suspect is described as an African American male, approximately 30 years old, being about 6’02” tall and having a heavy build. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and had a black bandanna partially concealing his face.
