California Here We Come

With the March 3rd primary election in California now less than two months away, a lot of eyes from around the country are on our state.

Moving the California primary up to in early March instead of where it’s been in early June, means the state will play a much bigger role in the Democratic presidential race.

Come the morning of March 4th, there is expected to be a much clearer picture of who the likely nominee for the Democratic presidential nomination will be.

With former New York mayor Mike Bloomberg having campaigned in San Diego, L-A and Riverside Counties the last two days, it’s a sign that the candidates know how important California is going to be in the race to see which of them will face President Trump in November.

Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders have also campaigned here in California in recent days.

In past presidential primaries, by the time voters went to the polls in early June, the likely nominee was usually already known, with the political parties’ conventions just a month or two later.

So with all that being said, and the influence California will have in this presidential election year, it’s more important than ever that everyone in our state who is eligible to vote…be sure they are registered to vote and that they cast their vote.

You might say when it comes to this election cycle, it’s California here we come!
