Cal State San Marcos is increasing patrols on campus after four rapes and a sexual assault incident were reported at residence halls within three weeks of each other.
The incidents reportedly occurred on the following dates and locations:
- Sept. 5, The QUAD housing
- Sept. 6, University Village Apartments
- Sept. 13, Black Oak Hall
- Sept. 18, The QUAD housing
The individuals involved were known to each other, officials added.
Additionally, school officials said a person reported being sexually assaulted at Black Oak Hall on Sept. 21 after someone broke into their dorm.
All the reported cases are under investigation
