Debate Schedule For 2020 Presidential General Election Announced

The Commission on Presidential Debates has released the debate schedule for the 2020 Presidential and Vice Presidential general election. All of the debates will start at 9:00 p.m. ET and will run for 90 minutes without commercial interruption. The schedule includes three presidential and one vice presidential debate between September 29 and October 22, 2020.

Tuesday, September 29, 2020 - the first presidential debate will be hosted by the University of Notre Dame in Notre Dame, Indiana.

Wednesday, October 7, 2020 - the vice presidential debate will be hosted at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Thursday, October 15, 2020 - the second presidential debate will be hosted at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Thursday, October 22, 2020 - the third, and final presidential debate will be hosted at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee.

The Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD) is a nonpartisan, non-profit organization that is not funded by the government or any political party. They have been organizing the debates since 1987.

Americans will vote in the 2020 United States presidential election, on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
