President Joe Biden will address the nation on Thursday at 5:00 pm PT to discuss the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, vaccine distribution, and getting the United States back on track.
White House Press Sec. Jen Psaki explained "The president will deliver his first primetime address to commemorate the one-year anniversary of the COVID-19 shutdown on Thursday. He will discuss the many sacrifices the American people have made over the last year and the grave loss communities and families across the country have suffered."
The president's $1.9 trillion COVID-19 relief bill is expected to be ready for his signature prior to the address. The bill was approved by the U.S. House of Representatives on Wednesday.
