SAN DIEGO - Police arrest the young man they say is behind a series of sexual assaults in University City.
Iniabasi Aniekeme Udom, 18, was taken into custody Thursday on charges of sexual assault, sexual battery and indecent exposure. Most of the charges are misdemeanors, but at least one is a felony.
The arrest happened after San Diego Police received a tip from UC San Diego campus police about a suspect matching Udom's description who made a UCSD student feel uncomfortable. Udom's girlfriend is a student there and he had given her rides to the campus. While Udom is a college student, he is not enrolled at UCSD.
