A closure of I-805 north in Sorrento Valley planned for this weekend by Caltrans has been canceled because of inclement weather.
The closure of northbound lanes was to have begun at 9 p.m. tonight, from the state Route 52 split to the Miramar Road exit.
All entrances and exits into the I-805 at Nobel Drive were set to be closed. The portion of the freeway was expected to reopen by 5 a.m. Monday.
The planned closure would have followed last weekend's detour of southbound lanes in the same area.
