City leaders in San Diego have unveiled a new Sister City sign recognizing a partnership with Marseille, France.
The ceremony took place during the French Market event at the Civic Center Courtyard, celebrating French culture, food, and local businesses.
Mayor Todd Gloria said the partnership highlights shared industries like clean energy, life sciences, and maritime business.
Officials say the relationship is expected to strengthen economic and cultural ties between the two cities.
