State lawmakers are considering a bill that would allow standard gasoline cars to use cheaper E-85 fuel, a mix of ethanol and gas. The kits cost anywhere from $800 to $2-thousand dollars. However, there is a drawback. E-85 isn't available at every gas station, and you may get fewer miles per gallon.
A decision on whether the bill moves forward is expected in a couple of weeks.
