There are several May Day marches and rallies today in the county. Each will focus on worker rights, immigrant justice and economic equality. There's a march set for waterfront park at 4 this afternoon.
A rally at Chicano Park starts at noon with a march toward city college and a banner drop at Sampson Street bridge.
In Oceanside, a rally at north coast highway and Pier view way at 10am and a UCSD student led walkout is planned at 12:15 this afternoon with a community rally at 5pm.
There are also rallies planned in Del Mar, El Cajon Encinitas, Mira Mesa and San Diego International Airport.
