The man who owns the "Trump House" in Escondido is in the hospital, in critical condition.
He says it's because of his support of the President, and although police have arrested a suspect in the attack, they have not released a motive.
The house on Buchanan street has long been covered with flags and MAGA decor. Neighbors have complained, and some claim it is in violation of the state's campaign law.
On Wednesday, police were called to the home and arrived to find a utility worker restraining one man, while another lay injured nearby. Police cordoned off the property for an investigation.
