A big Navy homecoming Thursday morning for a San Diego based nuclear-powered aircraft carrier.
The USS Abraham Lincoln returns home to NAS North Island after a seven-month long deployment for the more than six-thousand sailors and Marines on board.
The Abraham Lincoln is the first carrier to deploy with the Marines' new F-35-C Lightning Squadron.
The Carrier Strike Goup also includes the USS Mobile Bay, the USS Fitzgerald and the USS Spruance which are all homeported at Naval Base San Diego.
We will have live reports with KOGO's military affairs reporter Phil Farrar.
